Emergency Tech Repair was founded in June 2022 with a simple mission: to provide fast, honest, and reliable technology repair services with the urgency customers need and the care they deserve.

What started as a small service-based repair business quickly grew into a trusted local resource for phones, tablets, computers, data recovery, custom builds, and business technology support. From the beginning, Emergency Tech Repair was built around the idea that technology problems are often stressful, time-sensitive, and personal — and customers deserve a repair shop that treats those issues with professionalism and respect.

One of the company’s earliest symbols was a retired ambulance, which became a fitting representation of the brand: rapid response, dependable service, and a commitment to helping people when their technology stops working. That identity helped shape Emergency Tech Repair into a recognizable and trusted name in the community.

In February 2023, Emergency Tech Repair opened its first physical location in the Asheville Mall, marking an important step from mobile and service-based repairs into a full retail repair operation. As customer demand grew, the company continued expanding its capabilities, improving its systems, and investing in better tools, training, and service processes.

By February 2024, Emergency Tech Repair moved into a larger location on Patton Avenue in Asheville to better serve the growing customer base. Around the same time, the company expanded into Greenville, South Carolina, and continued developing its business technology services to support small businesses with repair, IT support, and infrastructure needs.

Today, Emergency Tech Repair remains focused on quality repairs, honest communication, fair pricing, and dependable service. We are proud to be a living wage-certified company and an Apple Independent Repair Provider, reflecting our commitment to both our team and our customers.
